RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in 18-bed ICU unit on 3rd floor of main hospital
• Maintain 1:2 patient ratio
• Work with critical care equipment and EMR - Meditech system
• Day shift staffing includes charge nurse with 8 additional staff members
• Night shift staffing includes charge nurse plus 8 additional staff members
• Required skills include medication titration, critical care competencies, restraints management, and ventilator management
• Preferred skills include CRRT and Impella/IABP experience
• Typical procedures include ventilator management, critical care competencies, titratable medications, Arctic Sun, and restraints
• Float to ED and Med Surg units as needed
• Weekend work required
• Must possess HCA iCARE values and appropriate personality fit
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs
