RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Must have 2+ years Medical Surgical experience required
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• BLS certification required
• May be required to float to other units based on organizational needs and competency level
• Required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Eve + Day = 1 holiday)
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to diverse patient populations including renal, hepatic, respiratory, cardiac, neurologic, psychiatric, and infectious diseases
• Care for patients with high volume conditions including cellulitis, COPD, diabetes, ETOH withdrawal, pneumonia, and sepsis
• Serve adult patients ranging from 18 years old to geriatric population
• Work in extremely busy and fast-paced environment with high patient volume
• Utilize nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Coordinate care between other healthcare professionals as needed
