RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Seasonal travel position available
• Work in a 20-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit on the 3rd floor
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 depending on acuity
• Use Philip monitors, Alaris and Medfusion IV pumps
• Work with Meditech EMR system
• Must have experience with care of respiratory failure (ETT, HFOV)
• Central line maintenance and care experience required
• Preferred qualifications include post-op cardiac experience and venous puncture skills
• Perform typical procedures including conscious sedations and CT placement
• Work with a team including free charge nurse, bedside RNs, and PCTs
• Ideal candidates are flexible, helpful, and humble
