RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on the Orthopedic Surgical Trauma unit (46-bed unit)
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6
• 4 weekend shifts per schedule required
• Float to Medical Surgical units as needed
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Must have experience with chest tube management
• Trauma experience preferred
• Work with various equipment including chest tubes, traction, orthopedic equipment, IV, oxygen, trachs, and drains
• Perform typical procedures including lines and drains management
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs
• Must demonstrate flexibility and good time management skills
