RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work on a 26-bed ICU unit located on the 2nd floor of the main building
• Patient ratios of 1:2 providing intensive care nursing
• Work every other weekend shift with no on-call requirements for agency nurses
• Required to wear royal blue scrubs as dress code
• Work with advanced equipment including mechanical ventilators, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and EKOS
• Use Meditech EMR system for documentation
• Assist with complex procedures including intubation, bedside ECMO cannulation, chest tube insertion, bedside tracheostomy, and central line insertions
• Day shift includes 1 charge RN, 1 rapid response RN, and 8 bedside RNs
• Night shift staffing mirrors day shift configuration
• Must have 1-2 years of ICU experience - candidates without this experience will not be considered
• Preferred experience in CV or Neuro ICU
• Required certifications: ACLS/BCLS
• Must be accountable for actions and decisions
• No floating to other units required
