RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Seasonal contract position for 13 weeks starting January 4th
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Weekend work required
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Work in 34-bed Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) unit on 5th floor
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Preferred certifications: CATN or TCAR or TCCN
• Work with equipment including bedside monitors, glucometers, dopplers, standing scales, wheelchairs, and hoyer lifts
• Assist with procedures including emergent chest tube placement, midlines or PICCs, and emergent bedside bronchoscopy
• Dress code: Navy blue scrub tops and pants required
• Must be teamwork oriented and work collaboratively with 1 charge nurse, 9 nurses, and 4 PCTs per shift
