Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - NICU
Job Details:
• Work in a 146-bed NICU with 64 Level 3&4 beds and 82 Level 2 beds
• Patient ratios vary by acuity: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4
• Day and night shifts available with 2 charge nurses, varying nursing staff based on census and acuity, unit clerk, and nurse tech in Level 2
• Minimum 4 weekend shifts and 2 Monday-Friday shifts required per 4-week schedule
• Holiday coverage per unit guidelines
• Float to all NICU areas, General Nursery, and Pediatrics with infant assignments
• Work with all NICU equipment using Meditech & CPN EMR systems
• Perform typical NICU procedures including LP, central line placement, circumcision, and eye exams
• Two years of NICU experience required
• Must have skills in infant assessment, IV management, and respiratory support management
• Level 4 NICU experience and HCA experience preferred
• Required certifications: NRP and BLS
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs
• Bare below the elbows policy including naked nails requirement
• Strong communication skills and focus on parent satisfaction and patient safety essential

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
