Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - PCU
Job Details:
• Work in a 39-bed Critical Medical Unit (CMU) with 1:3-4 patient ratios
• Provide direct patient care with no unit secretaries or CNAs available
• Days require 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule, Nights require 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Float to all Intermediate Care and Medical/Telemetry units as needed
• Work with advanced equipment including ventilators, IV medication pumps, SCD machines, cooling blankets, and glucometers
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must have more than 1 year experience in IMC/PCU level unit
• Experience required with ventilators, high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, CPAP, and IV non-titratable medications including Dopamine, Dobutamine, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, and Heparin
• Navy scrubs required as part of dress code
• Unit recognized with Daisy Team Award

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
