RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts in a 33-bed Progressive Care Unit
• Maintain patient ratios of 3:1 or 4:1
• Work 36 hours per week with every other weekend requirement
• Fill in scheduling needs as required
• First to float according to facility floating policy
• Care for post-operative CABG, vascular, and general cardiac patient population
• Manage cardiac drips, titrations, and electrolyte replacement
• Experience required with chest tubes, epicardial pacing wires, and TR bands
• Focus on patient experience requirements including pain management, communication, and responsiveness
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and EKG Interpretation
• Dress code requires galaxy blue, red, or black scrubs
• Unit secretaries available Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Nurse extern availability at times for additional support
