RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 36 hours per week on 5T PCU unit with 33 beds
• Patient ratio of 3:1 to 4:1
• Work every other weekend as required
• Flexible to fill in scheduling needs as necessary
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Subject to floating policy as first to float
• Must have experience with Post-Op CABGs, vascular and general cardiac patient population
• Required knowledge of cardiac drips/titrations and electrolyte replacement
• Experience with management of Chest Tubes, Epicardial Pacing Wires, and TR Bands required
• Required certifications: BLS, ALS, EKG Interpretation
• Dress code: Galaxy Blue, Red, or Black scrubs
• Focus on patient experience requirements including pain management, communication and responsiveness
• Unit secretaries available Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Nurse Extern availability at times for support
