RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work as a circulating nurse in the operating room
• On-call requirements: 5 days per month including one weekend
• 4 to 5 call days required at Medical City Alliance
• Patient ratio: 4 to 5 cases per team
• Must be able to position patients on hospital bed, prep and position for surgery, and monitor all equipment
• Minimum 3 years of experience as circulator preferred
• Handle typical procedures including total joints, hip replacements, tibia and fibula surgeries, ankle and feet procedures, and mid foot joints
• Assist with plastic surgery procedures including breast reductions, expansions, robotic XI and DV5, breast reconstruction, and DIEP flaps
• Float between Surgical Hospital and Alliance campus as needed
• Take trauma calls at main campus
• Work in 7-bed operating room unit on first floor
• Collaborate with experienced surgical team including OR RNs and certified surgical technologists
