RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3 days per week with every other weekend requirement
• Patient ratio of 5:1 on each unit
• Float between MS2 and MS3 units (27 beds each)
• Work with post-operative patients, especially orthopedic cases
• Perform blood transfusions and IV/central line maintenance
• Use Computer on Wheels, Pyxis medication system, and Welch Allen vital sign machines
• Work with Medhost documentation system transitioning to Meditech
• Unit secretaries available during day shift, techs available on all shifts
• Basic Med/Surg experience required with post-op patient experience
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred but not required
• Dark blue uniform dress code required
• Access to brand new computer on wheels and vital sign equipment
