RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU/CCU

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week in an 8-bed Critical Care Unit
• Patient ratios of 2:1, sometimes 3:1 depending on staffing and acuity
• May be required to float to other units as needed
• Adult patient population only - no pediatrics
• Care for patients with diagnoses including DKA, sepsis, respiratory failure, and post heart catheterization patients
• Work with Mindray Datascope equipment and MedHost documentation system
• Monitor tech support available on the unit
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI
• Must have knowledge of ventilators, drips (sedation, vasoactive medications), and care of central venous catheter lines
• Assist with procedures including bronchoscopy, placement of CVC lines, placement of chest tubes, and sometimes bedside procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, PEG tube placement, trach placement)
• Follow facility dress code policy
• Provide quality nursing care in a community-focused environment
