RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 12-bed Progressive Care Unit with 4:1 patient ratios
• Every other weekend scheduling requirement
• Float in rotation with full-time staff and other travelers
• Work with one tech support person per unit
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must have positive attitude, teamwork skills, and problem-solving abilities
• Provide post-cardiac catheterization care including TR band management
• Perform advanced pulmonary treatments and medication titration
• Complete patient experience requirements including AIDET, communication board completion, and medication teaching
• Use GE monitors, Nova glucometers, and Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Document in Meditech electronic health record system
• Required uniform: charcoal gray scrubs
• Advanced skills required for TR band care and complex medication management
