RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work in a 12-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Maintain 4:1 patient ratio
• Every other weekend schedule requirement
• Float in rotation with full-time staff and other travelers
• Work with GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, and Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Required to wear charcoal gray scrubs
• Unit has 1 tech available for support
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, teamwork, and problem solving skills
• Perform post-cath care including TR band management
• Provide advanced pulmonary treatments and medication titration
• Follow Patient Experience requirements including AIDET, completion of communication boards, and medication teaching
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Advanced skills needed include care of TR band, advanced pulmonary treatments, and medication titration
