RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Must have 2+ years of recent Med Surg/Tele experience required
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips
• Care for 29-bed unit with staffing matrix between 1:4-6 patient ratios
• Provide care to combination of telemetry and medical status patients
• Treat patients with medical or stable telemetry diagnoses including COPD, sepsis, respiratory illnesses, ETOH withdrawal, diabetes, GI bleed, and other conditions
• All telemetry patients monitored remotely by CCT
• May be required to float to other units based on competency level
• Must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Eve + Days = 1 Holiday)
• Required to pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends and holidays
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and their families
