RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend requirement includes 1-2 24-hour weekend call shifts
• On-call requirement of 1-2 call nights per week with charge duties as needed
• Float to other departments as needed
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• BLS and ACLS certification from AHA required
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of patient population served
• Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner
• Demonstrate performance consistent with unit and organizational standards
• Must have current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served
• Must be able to handle emergency/crisis situations
• Physical requirements include prolonged standing and walking, heavy physical effort for positioning and transferring patients
• Requires considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching
• Manual dexterity and fine motor coordination required
• Work environment includes exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases and x-rays
