Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Radiation Therapist
Job Details:
• Must be licensed as Radiation Therapist in NY (can obtain during onboarding)
• Must have ARRT certification
• Local candidates from ineligible counties are not being accepted (effective 1/11/2024)
• Administer ionizing radiation and radioactive substances to patients under supervision of a Radiation Oncologist
• Operate high voltage machinery safely and accurately
• Accurately enter and maintain patient treatment parameters into electronic medical records
• Interpret computerized treatment plans accurately
• Observe patients daily for reactions and report adverse reactions immediately to Radiation Oncology Nurse or Radiation Oncologist
• Facilitate complex problem solving regarding technical issues
• Maintain professional conduct essential to patient well-being
• Adhere to NYSDOH, ARRT, and ACRO radiation safety protocols
• Work with Varian Truebeam and Varian 21ix equipment
• Must have satisfactory completion of training program in Radiation Therapy Technology from AMA approved school
• Must meet ARRT registry requirements

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
