RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• On-call required including weekends and nights rotation
• Work approximately 4 weekend shifts per month
• 1:1 patient ratio in operating room setting
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Level 2 Trauma center experience required
• Must have experience with robotics, neuro, ortho, urology, and vascular procedures
• Preferred: Level 1 Trauma experience and 2+ years as OR RN
• Work with advanced equipment including Stryker, DaVinci, Mako, and Hana systems
• Use MediTech EMR system
• Perform typical procedures including robotics, neuro, ortho, urology, vascular, and exploratory laparotomy
• Hospital scrubs will be provided
• Must be a team player who takes initiative
• Unit metrics focus on on-time starts and room turnover time

This medical center features a comprehensive surgery department with 10 operating rooms plus 2 endoscopy suites, staffed by 120 team members. The facility operates as a Level 2 Trauma center and specializes in advanced surgical procedures including robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology, and vascular surgery.
