Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
Special Procedures Tech - Radiology
Job Details:
• Work in interventional radiology performing specialized procedures
• Operate Phillips Biplane equipment
• Perform PICC line and C-line procedures
• Assist with paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures
• Support embolizations, filter placements, neuro procedures, and biopsies
• Work with Meditech EMR system
• Day shift includes 3 technologists working with 2 RNs and 1 PCT
• On-call responsibilities for nights and weekends
• After hours coverage weekdays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 24-hour weekend coverage required
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Must be a multi-tasker who easily adjusts to change
• Team player with friendly personality required
• Current interventional radiology experience required
• Neuro interventional radiology experience preferred
• RT-R and BLS certifications required
Facility:
This healthcare facility features a modern interventional radiology department located on the first floor of the main hospital building. The unit maintains 4 holding spaces and operates with state-of-the-art Phillips Biplane equipment. When fully staffed, the department includes 5 RNs, 4 technologists, and 1 PCT, providing comprehensive interventional radiology services including complex neuro procedures, vascular interventions, and diagnostic procedures to serve the community's specialized medical needs.

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
