Description
Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend and holiday coverage required based on facility needs
• First to float to Medical-Surgical or Emergency Room units for 1:1 patient assignments
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2-3 depending on patient acuity
• Care for 4-bed ICU unit with common diagnoses including DKA, sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac conditions, medical detox patients
• Manage arterial lines and central venous pressure monitoring
• Required to titrate ICU-typical drips and medications
• Responsible for reading and interpreting telemetry strips independently
• Work with respiratory equipment ranging from nasal cannula to ventilators
• Navy scrubs required
• Complete 3 twelve-hour orientation shifts
• Must pass fit testing requirements - facial hair restrictions apply
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC/TCAR or trauma patient care experience
• Use MEDITECH charting system
• BSN degree not required
• Must demonstrate coachability, motivation, ability to identify unsafe situations, and strong teamwork skills
• 50-mile radius rule applies with employment restrictions for CommonSpirit-affiliated facilities

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
