Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts with every other weekend rotation
• Rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases once per week
• Weekend call requirement: 1 weekend per month (Friday evening through Monday morning)
• First to float when needed
• Work in team of 2 technologists (1 scrubs, 1 monitors hemodynamics)
• Handle 10-22 cases per day on average across 5 suites
• Must have current catheterization lab experience
• Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation procedures
• Experience required with procedural processes, airway management, and cardiac drips (Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors)
• Must be comfortable working with balloon pumps
• Work with various case types: cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, Fluoroscopy
• Use Cerner charting system
• License verification required for submission
• No first-time travelers accepted
• BSN not required

This acute care facility operates a comprehensive catheterization lab department with 5 specialized suites designed for different types of interventional procedures. The facility serves as a STEMI receiving center and provides advanced cardiac and vascular interventional services. The department features dedicated suites for coronary cases, peripheral procedures, vascular and neuro interventions, and electrophysiology cases, maintaining high-volume operations with experienced multidisciplinary teams.
