RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Provide telemetry nursing care in intermediate care unit with 37 beds
• Patient ratios of 1:6 general patients and 1:4 for Heart Cath patients
• Work with equipment including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Perform typical procedures including central lines, medication drips, heart cath recovery, and bubble studies
• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital telemetry experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior Meditech experience and NIH certification preferred
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, independence, and strong critical thinking skills
• Night shift staffing includes 8 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs
• Located on 3rd floor of Building 4
