RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 31-bed medical surgical unit located on 1 North
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Utilize computer on wheels technology and Meditech EMR system
• Every other weekend requirement
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must demonstrate critical thinking and prioritization skills
• Strong organizational skills required
• Charge nurse skills preferred
• Ultrasound IV experience preferred
• Perform typical procedures including paracentesis and chest tube insertion
• May float to Medical Surgical Telemetry units
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs
• Must maintain professionalism in accordance with unit guidelines
• Work alongside a team of approximately 30 staff members including RNs, CNAs, and sitters
• Friendly, outgoing personality is the best fit for this unit
