Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Work Sunday through Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Perform technical procedures under direction of Medical Director, Section Head, manager, and Radiologist
• Assist in clinical evaluation and patient care
• Utilize MRI modality to create diagnostic images
• Provide patients with safe and positive experiences
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in compliance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Support teaching and continue learning as technology advances
• Maintain competent imaging skills in practicing modality
• Practice in compliance with hospital/department policy and New York state standards
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate patient care
• Associate degree in Applied Science required
• Diploma in X-Ray required
• Graduate of approved professional academic imaging program required
• Previous experience preferred
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration required upon hire
• New York State registration or limited permit to practice required upon hire
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
