Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Work Tuesday through Friday from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Perform technical MRI procedures under direction of Medical Director and/or Section Head
• Create diagnostic images using MRI technology
• Provide patients with safe, positive experiences during imaging procedures
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in compliance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Support teaching and continue learning as technology advances
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate patient care
• Maintain competent imaging skills in MRI modality
• Practice in compliance with hospital/department policy and state standards
• Associate degree in Applied Science required
• Diploma in X-Ray or Vocational School Diploma from approved professional academic imaging program required
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration upon hire required
• New York State registration or limited permit to practice upon hire required
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire required
• Previous experience preferred but not required
