Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts with call requirements
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios in the lab, 2:1 in holding, and 4:1 in pre/post areas
• Previous Cath Lab experience required
• Must be able to take call
• Structural Heart experience preferred
• EP experience preferred
• Perform heart catheterizations and interventions, peripheral catheterizations and interventions
• Assist with TAVR, Mitra Clip, Watchman, Pacemaker and ICD implants
• Support EP studies and ablations, PFO & ASD closures, Carotid stents
• Work with advanced equipment including GE imaging equipment, Volcano, Rotoblator, Angiojet, IABP, Impella, Penumbra, Inari
• Use Cerner and Merge hemodynamic systems
• Flexible and easygoing personality required
• Must wear black scrubs per facility dress code
• Park by the old red schoolhouse building or in the parking lot behind the Medical office building

Facility:

This 204-bed acute care facility features a very dynamic and busy cardiac catheterization laboratory with 2 cath lab rooms, 10 pre & post beds, and 6 holding beds. The facility performs all structural heart procedures and maintains a very advanced cardiac program with residents and cardiac fellows. The cath lab and EP lab provide comprehensive cardiovascular services using state-of-the-art technology and equipment, making it an excellent environment for experienced cardiac technologists to advance their skills.
