Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Work day shift rotating weekends with 7-10 hour shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week assignment
• Call requirements included
• Floating as needed per Methodist Floating Policy
• 2+ years of hospital experience required
• Must have scrub assist skills during cardiac and EP diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Able to operate cardiac stimulator (Bloom) and use MacLab recorder
• Must be able to use MacLab system to record, measure and document during various cardiac procedures
• BLS certification required
• Active TX RN License required (temporary license not accepted)
• RCIS or RCES certification required
• Perform cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, vascular procedures, and EP scrub assist
• Work with adult patient population
• Use equipment including MacLab, Volcano IVUS, MacLab hemo monitoring, Philips FD 20 and FD 10
• Documentation using Meditech and MacLab systems
• Facility provides scrubs for Cath Lab staff
• Must maintain clean and healthy nails, neat hair with no extreme styles or colors
• Body art should be covered whenever possible, visible piercings other than ears prohibited

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
