RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 20-bed orthopedic unit with 1:5 nursing ratio
• Must work independently managing 5 patients
• Experience on surgical unit required
• Pain management experience preferred
• Orthopedic experience preferred
• Positive attitude and team player personality essential
• Perform typical procedures including dressing changes and aspiration
• Work with diverse patient population including elective orthopedic patients and orthopedic trauma patients
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 4 nurses
• Must be able to work with travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters
