RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on a 36-bed medical surgical telemetry unit on 3 South in the South Tower
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Work with equipment including EKG Machine, DynaMaps, Bladder Scanner, Vein Finder, and Telemetry
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Required to have medical surgical telemetry experience
• Meditech experience required
• Perform typical procedures including heart catheterizations
• Float to all medical surgical telemetry floors as needed
• Work every other weekend or 2 full weekends per month
• Dress code requires ceil blue scrubs
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and helpful nature
• Time management and critical thinking skills preferred
• Work alongside charge nurse, 6 nurses (RN/LPN mix), 3 techs, and 1 secretary during day shift
• Night shift includes charge nurse, 6 nurses (RN/LPN mix), and 3 techs
