RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on 3 South floor in South Tower building
• 36-bed medical surgical telemetry unit with 32 staff members
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 6 nurses (RN/LPN mix), 3 techs, and 1 secretary
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 6 nurses (RN/LPN mix), and 3 techs
• Work with equipment including EKG machines, DynaMaps, bladder scanners, vein finders, and telemetry
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Perform typical procedures including heart catheterizations
• Must have medical surgical telemetry experience and Meditech experience
• Strong time management and critical thinking skills preferred
• Float to all medical surgical telemetry floors as needed
• Work every other weekend or 2 full weekends per month
• Dress code requires ceil blue scrubs
• Positive attitude, friendly, and helpful personality required
