Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Multiple shifts available with start times varying from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
• Full-time position with 1:4-5 nurse to patient ratio
• Weekend requirement: 6 weekend days worked per 6 weeks
• On-call requirement: 2 on-call shifts per 6 weeks for emergencies or extra shifts
• Floating may be requested but unlikely due to census
• Most recent ED experience in Level 1, 2, or 3 Trauma within 1 year required
• Treat diverse patient population including clinic-type patients, strokes, STEMIs, Level I traumas, post-surgical complications, pregnancy complications, pediatrics, behavioral health, and all emergency department cases
• Required certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA only)
• New Mexico RN license or compact state license required
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• One year of related nursing specialty experience preferred
• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire
• Complete Emergency Department-specific competency validation
• Provide nursing care using nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Provide patient and family education and identify learning needs

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
