RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in Same Day Surgery unit (Day Surgery 78501)
• Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 8-week contract assignment
• Located on 1st floor of Building 1
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• No on-call requirements
• No floating requirements
• Work with 14+ bed unit with 6-10 RNs and PCTs
• Day shift staffing includes 4 RNs, 1 tech, and charge nurse
• Must have strong IV start skills
• Collaboration skills required
• Leadership experience preferred
• Proactive and assertive personality desired
• Utilize EMR system Meditech
• Responsibilities include board runner duties and scheduling
• Must be adaptable and work well in team environment
