Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient ratios typically 4:1, may flex up to 5:1 during staffing shortages
• 25-bed Progressive Care Unit on 2nd floor of main hospital
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH certification
• Preceptor experience and charge nurse experience preferred
• Care for stroke patients, cardiac drip patients, continuous BiPAP patients, and post-procedure patients
• Equipment includes BiPAP, restraints, AirVo, seizure precautions, bedside monitoring, and telemetry
• EMR system: Meditech
• Perform emergent thoracentesis and telemetry monitoring procedures
• Must be a compassionate team player with strong communication skills
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team
• Demonstrate integrity and willingness to help others
• Unit orientation includes policies and guidelines training

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
