Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - PCU
Job Details:
• Work in 24-bed Progressive Care Unit on 3S floor
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• 4 weekend shifts required in a 4-week schedule
• Work with Baxter IV pumps, Hillrom equipment, iMobile with Apple, and telemetry systems
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must have accountability for actions and cardiac drips knowledge (Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Cardene, Cardizem)
• 6 months PCU experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• May float to Med-Surg/telemetry and Ortho units
• Care for patients post CABG, AVR/MVR, aortic root repairs, LVAD, and immediate post VATS with chest tubes
• Handle post vascular surgeries, pre/post cath lab and EP procedures (pacemaker/AICD, heart caths, PCIs, TAVR)
• Assist with bedside procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, and PICC insertion
• Must be a caring team player with great communication skills between patients and interdisciplinary team

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
