RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU/CCU

Job Details:

• Must have cardiac experience and strong critical care experience required
• 32-bed Cardiac Care Unit with 2:1 patient ratios
• 4-week scheduling periods with 3-4 weekend shifts required per period
• Float as needed to other units based on census
• Work with Hill-Rom beds and Phillips telemetry monitors
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Unit support includes student nurse externs as techs and unit secretary Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-3:30 PM
• Advanced skills needed: PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, CRRT preferred
• Procedures performed: Central line insertion, swan insertion, intubations
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Dress code: Galaxy blue, red, or black scrubs with scrub jackets or vests only
• Growing cardiogenic shock program with 12 beds dedicated to cardiogenic shock patients
• Work with providers specializing in specific patient populations
