RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 10-operating room surgical unit on the 1st floor
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios during surgical procedures
• Participate in daily huddles at 6:45 AM
• Work with surgery equipment including Stryker towers, robotic towers, and Neptune suctioning systems
• Use Meditech EMR system for documentation
• Must have experience in orthopedic, general, and gynecological surgeries
• Preferred experience in urology and cystoscopy procedures
• Handle typical procedures including CV, ortho, general, gynecological, podiatry, ENT, bariatric, robotic, and cystoscopy surgeries
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs
• On-call requirements vary: CV call involves one week at a time every other week to every 3rd week depending on staffing; general call involves 6 calls per 4 weeks with at least 2 weekend shifts and remaining weeknight shifts
• Must demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, and strong work ethic
• Work with day shift team including 1 CNC, 7-9 RNs, 7-9 CSTs, 4-5 FAs, 3-4 OR Aides, and 2 Anesthesia Techs
