RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: Day shift 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or Night shift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Work every other weekend with no call responsibilities
• 10-bed ICU unit located on 2nd floor of Main Campus
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• 3+ years recent ICU experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred for multi-tasking and independent thinking abilities
• Work with equipment including Phillips monitors, HillRom beds, Omnicell, GE EKG machine, Lifepak 20e defibrillator, Lucas device, Verathon bladder scanner
• Use Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Perform typical procedures including STEMI protocol, Stroke protocol, Conscious Sedation, Chest Tubes, Codes, and Intubation
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must demonstrate friendly, honest, flexible personality with excellent multi-tasking abilities, compassion, teamwork skills, sense of urgency, and superb critical thinking skills
• No floating to other units
