RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Staggered shift schedule with pre-op starting at 5:30 AM and last staff arriving at 2:00 PM
• Unit staffed until 9:30 PM
• Call shifts required for night coverage
• Must float between pre-op and PACU units
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• Work with 10-bed pre-op unit and 10-bed PACU
• Handle large variety of surgical cases with high volume of complex surgeries
• Use Phillips monitors and Meditech EMR system
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Meditech experience preferred
• Must be flexible and able to work between both units
• ICU cases transferred directly to ICU unless unit is full
• Collaborate with high-functioning team of exceptional nurses
