Opportunity:

RN - Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per schedule (Saturday/Sunday for days, Friday/Saturday for nights)
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Float between all Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units at both Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses
• Float pool position - first to float based on hospital needs
• May float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, all Tele units, MedSurg, and various holding areas
• Campus and unit assignment notification given 1.5 hours prior to shift start
• Must be able to titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitroglycerin, Heparin, and Dobutamine
• Required to pass dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer (2 maximum attempts)
• Must pass mandatory Sim Lab on day one of orientation
• Patient ratios range from 1:3-4 on Telemetry units to 1:4 on Medical-Surgical units
• Must be able to interpret EKGs and work with centralized telemetry monitoring
• Navy scrubs required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• BSN not required
• 2-day floor-specific orientation for each unit
• Use Cerner charting system
