RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• Work on 45-bed medical surgical unit
• Patient ratios: 1:5 on days, 1:6 on nights
• Float requirements as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• PALS preferred but not required
• Must have IV skills and telemetry monitoring experience
• Work with equipment including Plum pumps, Pyxis, Ascom phones, bladder scanner, EKG machine, and Phillips Cardiac Monitor
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Care for medical surgical patients including orthopedic, general surgery, and urology cases
• Common diagnoses include CHF, COPD, and pneumonia
• Complete LMS modules as assigned
• Dress code requires scrubs in any solid color (no prints), clean and in good repair
• No hoodies, crocs, or shoes with holes or open toes permitted
