RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday coverage required
• Float to other units as needed
• Must reside within 50-mile radius of facility
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Dress code: Ceil Blue scrubs
• Use telemetry monitoring equipment, Dynamaps, glucometers, iMobile phones, and bladder scanners
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Perform procedures including PICC line removal and vascular catheter removal
• Conduct hourly rounding, bedside shift reports, and maintain My Care Boards
• Advanced telemetry rhythm interpretation skills required
• Self-scheduling available within established guidelines
• Must demonstrate strong assessment skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Positive attitude, flexibility, dependability, and excellent communication skills essential

The medical-surgical telemetry unit is a 36-bed unit located on the fourth floor, featuring two nursing stations with telemetry monitoring for each room.
