Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Neuro
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• No call requirements
• Float as needed to other units
• Patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days, 1:5-6 on nights
• Care for 26-bed neurology/orthopedic/trauma unit
• No specific certification required, neuro experience preferred
• Must have neuro/neurosurgical experience
• Care for neurosurgical patients including spinal surgery, spine fractures, brain tumors
• Manage patients with seizure disorders, VP shunts, head bleeds, and traumatic injuries
• Assist with joint replacement surgery patients
• Use Epic EMR system
• Must be proactive team player with positive attitude
• Scrubs of any color acceptable, must maintain professional appearance

This major medical center operates a specialized 26-bed neurology/orthopedic/trauma unit providing comprehensive care for complex neurological and orthopedic conditions. The facility utilizes Epic EMR systems and maintains high standards for patient care with experienced nursing staff managing challenging cases including neurosurgical patients, trauma cases, and various neurological disorders.

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
