RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work variable shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements, though call may occasionally be offered
• Float to med surg/telemetry units as needed
• 3-5 years of critical care experience preferred
• Must maintain 1:2 patient ratios in 4-bed ICU unit
• Care for patients over 18 years old with critical care needs
• Assist with intubation and ventilator management
• Provide care coordination and management of critically ill/unstable patients
• Occasionally provide off-hours recovery and PACU care
• Work with hemodynamic monitoring equipment including Philips cardiac monitors
• Use EPIC EMR system for documentation
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• CCRN preferred but not required
• PACU experience preferred but not required
• Must complete education modules in BLS/ACLS, vent management, central line care, medication administration, and policies/procedures
• Professional dress code required - scrubs only, no hoodies or graphic wear

This healthcare facility operates a 4-bed intensive care unit providing critical care services to the community. The facility is equipped with advanced monitoring technology including Philips hemodynamic monitoring systems and utilizes EPIC electronic medical records. The ICU focuses on comprehensive critical care with capabilities for ventilator management, central line care, and post-anesthesia recovery services when needed.
