RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with call responsibilities
• Self-scheduling for call approximately one day per week and one weekend per month
• Call shifts run from 4:30 PM to 7:30 AM the following morning
• Weekend call runs from 4:30 PM Friday to 7:30 AM Monday
• Critical care experience required
• Must have experience with Impella and IABP
• Experience titrating drips independently required
• ACLS certification required
• Adult patient population
• No floating required
• Work with specialized equipment including OCT, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, IABP, Pacers, Rota, CSI, Opsens, Cath Works, and Penumbra
• EMR systems: Sunrise/Allscripts and Mac Lab
• Perform procedures including left and right heart caths, drug studies, TAVR, TMVR, ASD/PFO, stents/angioplasty, atherectomy, mechanical thrombectomy, mitral clip, and pressure wire procedures
• Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs provided by hospital
• Must be efficient yet easy-going with a good sense of humor

Facility:

This medical center features a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory with three cath labs, an inpatient holding area, and a radial lounge for outpatients. The facility maintains a full staff of cardiac specialists and operates with state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment. The cardiac cath lab operates Monday through Friday with 24-hour call coverage, while the radial lounge provides extended hours from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, ensuring comprehensive cardiac care services for the community.
