Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Minimum 2 years of IMC/Stepdown experience required
• Medical/Neuro ICU experience preferred
• Must have experience with vasopressors, titratable drips, art lines, neuro-stepdown patients, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and trach management
• Required to pass an ECG/Telemetry exam including reading/interpreting rhythm strips - failure results in contract termination
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• May be required to float to other units based on competency level
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Eve + Day = 1 Holiday)
• Required to pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends and holidays
• Work in 18-bed Intermediate Care Unit focusing on patients with severe but non-life threatening issues
• Care for patients with post ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke, sepsis, cardiac, and respiratory conditions
• Provide moderately complex assessments and intensive therapies in fast-paced environment

The facility operates as an 800-bed hospital with state-of-the-art equipment and leading-edge medical technologies. The organization features the region's only children's hospital, robotic surgery institute, comprehensive neurosciences center, and advanced heart and cancer services, providing the most advanced care in a 500-mile radius with volume and pace comparable to a Level I trauma center.

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
