RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Start date: January 26, 2026
• Every other weekend requirement
• Floating requirement to other locations as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA, ACLS from AHA, PALS from AHA, TNCC or ATCN
• CPI or equivalent preferred
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population served
• Obtain and record initial assessments and establish priorities according to patient age, symptoms and psychosocial needs
• Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
• Develop and implement measurable individualized plans of care within established time frames
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of facts and patient outcomes
• Participate in patient/significant other health education and discharge planning
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
• Handle emergency/crisis situations with prolonged standing and walking required
• Position, push and/or transfer patients or equipment requiring heavy physical effort
• Work in clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays
