RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Travel assignment on 9th floor Tower unit
• 20-bed medical surgical unit with 35 staff members
• Patient ratio of 6:1 with LPN support
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 3 nurses, 1 LPN, and 3 PCTs
• Work with equipment including hoyer lifts, air taps, and wound vacs
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Perform wound and dressing care on post-operative burn and flap patients
• Wound care and burn care experience preferred
• Must be a team player with positive attitude
• Provide care for medical surgical patients with focus on post-operative recovery
