RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Acute Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment with 72 hours guaranteed bi-weekly
• No call requirements or floating required
• Work every 4th weekend with every other holiday requirement
• Up to 48 hours of requested time off allowed for 13-week commitment
• Blocked scheduling available as an option
• Patient ratio of 1:6 for acute care patients and 1:10 for swing bed patients
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (PALS preferred)
• Indiana RN license required
• 3 years of nursing experience preferred
• Required skills include IV starts, nursing assessments, and telemetry monitoring
• Preferred skills include experience with ICU drips
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must live greater than 50 miles from facility
• Provide acute medical surgical care with telemetry, progressive care, and swing bed services
• Work in 20-bed unit with average daily census of 10 patients
