RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in a 5-bed recovery bay cardiac catheterization laboratory on the 2nd floor of main building
• Day shift position - 8-hour shifts
• Patient ratio of 2 per procedural room and 5 in recovery
• One weekend call per month and 8 to 10 weekdays required
• Must have 1+ years of cardiac catheterization lab experience
• Must be able to take call
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and current nursing license
• Work with GE/Philips equipment and Meditech/MERGE EMR systems
• Perform procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, PTA, stenting, Impella, IABP, peripheral angiograms and interventions, PPM, ICD, EP studies/ablations, some IR procedures, thrombectomy, laser, and directional atherectomy
• Navy scrubs provided by facility
• No artificial nails permitted
• Best personality fit: relaxed and laid back approach

This healthcare facility features a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory equipped with advanced GE/Philips technology and modern recovery bays. The facility maintains a collaborative 8 FTE team environment and utilizes Meditech and MERGE electronic medical record systems. The cardiac cath lab performs a wide range of cardiovascular procedures from diagnostic catheterizations to complex interventional procedures including electrophysiology studies and peripheral interventions.
