RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
• Must pass telemetry competency exam including rhythm strip identification and measurement - failure results in contract termination
• Care for patients with CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMI, sepsis, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, COPD, and post-procedure patients including pacemakers, ablations, cath lab, and cardiac surgery patients
• Administer non-titratable cardiac medication drips (Cardizem, Lasix, Nitro)
• May float to ICU, medical surgical units, or other Renown facilities based on competency level
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends and holidays
• Subject to call-off without penalty with 48 hours notice for low census
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients using the nursing process
