Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• This is a technologist position, NOT an RN position
• Work in Interventional Radiology department on 1st floor of main building
• Day shift staffing includes 3-4 technologists, 3-4 RNs, and 1 scheduler/coordinator
• Night shift coverage is on-call basis
• Call schedule includes 1-2 nights of call per week and 1 weekend of call every 4-5 weekends
• Patient ratios depend on type of IR procedure being performed
• Work with Discovery 740 IGS equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Assist with biopsies and drain insertions
• Support angiograms and peripheral vascular procedures
• Assist with paracenteses and thoracentesis procedures
• Help with other imaging needs including CT coronary, MRI monitoring, and myelograms
• Assist with line placement procedures
• May float to assist in CT, MRI, or general radiology when needed
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must have critical care experience, procedural area experience, and moderate sedation experience
• PALS and Meditech experience preferred
• Must be outgoing, self-starter, team oriented with positive personality
